FEEDING THE BRAIN WITH CREATIVITY
Carolyn will introduce you to simple creative techniques that will bring art and joy to your day, demonstrating techniques this is a wonderful class for Beginners. We will be inspired by animals in this class – exploring shape, texture and character. Carolyn will guide you through expressive mark making with charcoal you will explore observational drawing and developing your own drawings style this is suitable for all levels.

Everyone is welcome, Physical and neurological diversity is beautiful, please let us know if you have any special needs or if you are bringing a carer along.
Making art is messy, Please wear old clothes, or bring an art shirt.
Drawing is a practiced skill you are best to have your own supplies. What to bring, Charcoal assorted willow, kneadable rubber, B4, B6 pencil, white rubber, pencil sharpener or retractable blade, A3 cartridge paper sketch pad.

Fee: $25 for a 2 hour session or a BLOCK of 4 sessions is $80.00
Teacher : Carolyn Francis Carolyn is a keen member of the Life drawing seen in the Midland area, hosting 2 Life on Runyon sessions these being a non-tutored portrait and a long Life Drawing sessions out of her studio in Midvale, and co hosting the Figure Art Bassendean group, Carolyn also facilitates the Mjac [Midland Junction Arts Center] Life drawing sessions, this makes up a weekly average of 12 hours observational drawing. Carolyn is constantly exploring many different styles of sketching in charcoal, pencil and painting. Carolyn’s flexible and informative style will equip new comers with both contemporary and traditional techniques.
